Sheffield United have added to their Academy fodder with the signatures of eleven players signing full term contracts, and seven players signing scholarship deals ahead of the 2025/26 Professional Development League season.
Eleven players have signed permanently after completing their scholarships, mainly in the Under-18s side, with the exception of defender Max Asante-Boakye, who has joined from Aston Villa.
Archie Christie-Crainie, Coby Hewitson, Frankie Jones, Jackson Blaize, Seth Okyere and Zach Giggs will make the step-up to the Under-21s, whilst Aaron Reid, Sam Colechin, Siem Eyob-Abraha and Theo Howard, have agreed deals ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Elsewhere, seven players have agreed scholarship deals to join Jim O’Brien’s Under-18 side. Ben Murray, Charlie Bulmer, Keehan Barrett-Underwood, Marley Parr-Pearson, Matthew Poppleton, Robert Adams and Thomas Dearden, have become permanent members of the side.
